Six decades of dedicated expertise in rubber and plastics, marked by transformative restructuring and continuous innovation, have fostered sustained industry–university–research collaboration, resulting in meticulously crafted, high‑quality rubber and plastic components.
Changzhou Donghai Rubber Factory Co., Ltd. was formerly the Hose Division of Changzhou Lanling Rubber Factory, established in 1965. Following institutional reforms, it was reorganized and officially founded in 2001. The new factory is located within the Changzhou High-Tech Development Zone, enjoying an elegant environment and convenient transportation: it is just 1 kilometer from the Ring Expressway, 1 kilometer from the Shanghai–Nanjing Expressway, 1 kilometer from the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway, 10 kilometers from Changzhou Airport, and 8 kilometers from Changzhou Port, making its location exceptionally advantageous. The company’s total floor space spans 55,000 square meters, and it employs more than 300 staff members, including over 50 mid‑level and senior technical professionals.
The company places a strong emphasis on investing in core‑technology R&D, having established technical collaborations with Tongji University, Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Chongqing University, and Southwest Jiaotong University. It has introduced automated production lines for braided and knitted rubber hoses, and, drawing on its many years of accumulated expertise, has brought these two lines to world‑leading standards. In the areas of engine mounts and cab shock absorbers, the company has maintained long‑term partnerships with university experts, ensuring that its products achieve globally competitive performance levels. Furthermore, the company has filed numerous patent applications for its rubber hoses, shock absorbers, floor mats, and other products, covering both invention patents and utility‑model patents.
After years of dedicated effort, the company has expanded its product portfolio to encompass six core categories: intake and exhaust hoses for various engines; coolant inlet and outlet hoses for engines; suction and return oil hoses for hydraulic systems; fuel system hoses; intercooler hoses; cooling system hoses; brake hoses; power steering hoses; engine mounts; cab mounts; rubber floor mats for cabs; a wide range of rubber components; rubber seals; and foam‑based insulation and sound‑absorbing, noise‑reducing materials made from polyethylene, polyurethane, elastomers, and other polymers.
